Mr. Richard Akpokavie is an astute legal practitioner, with over 25 years experience in legal practice. In 1990, he joined A. Ossei Aidooh & Co, Aristo Chambers as a private legal practitioner and became a Managing Partner after 6 years. He continues to practice avidly and specializes in Maritime law as well as general Corporate law.
He holds an LLB (Hons) and BL from the Ghana Sch. of Law. He worked at Tema Development Corporation, where he later became the Director.
Mr. Richard Akpokavie is a Member of the Ghana Bar Association and a member of the Association of Chartered Mediators and Arbitrators. He is the President of the Ghana Hockey Association and is the current Secretary General of the Ghana Olympic Committee.
